The Bio-LNG production process begins with the collection of various waste streams that can produce biogas. This biogas undergoes an upgrading process to remove impurities and produce a high quality fuel with a high methane content.
The purified biogas is then cooled to low temperatures using cryogenic refrigeration, making it liquid and easier to store and transport.
The resulting end product, Bio-LNG, consists almost entirely of methane and has a high energy potential that can be efficiently used as a fuel for various applications.

There are many different suppliers of well-known brands supplying LNG/Bio-LNG trucks and coaches. There are options to have your truck converted. A tank is then added, allowing you to drive dual fuel (i.e., on diesel and Bio-LNG). However, this is not widely chosen, as there are now enough suppliers supplying LNG-fueled vehicles ex-factory.
The advantage of driving on Bio-LNG lies mainly in the fuel costs. When driving Bio-LNG trucks ex-factory, the advantage is the greatest. For passenger cars and vans, Bio-LNG is not a common fuel.
