Last weekend during the Daikin NK Distances OG Hero Femke Kok took silver in the 500 meters and the 1000 meters. Her opponent Jutta Leerdam, defeated her biggest rival in both the 500 meters and 1000 meters. Femke finished in second place by just over a second and qualified for the Wold Cups.
"When I'm at the start, I want to win. It's a real shame that wasn't there. I was super into it, but I just wasn't fierce enough. Fortunately, it is only October and I am qualified for the World Cups. That was the main goal," said Femke Kok.
